Gigs and concerts

If you could see any band or artist, current or historic who would it be.

My historic band would be Joy Division, I was 9 when Ian Curtis died and I've no idea how I came across them really but I'm so glad I did, maybe I stared with New Order and worked backwards.

The current band probably would be the Manchester Orchestra but they don't seem to tour in the UK.

My next planned concert is to see Bear's Den

  • I would loved to have seen Japan (and am extremely jealous of Debbie and Pixiefox!!!)

I also would have love to have seen Joy Division, but i am lucky to have seen New Order and also Peter Hook play Love Will Tear Us Apart and a few others.

I actually had a wish come true back in 2018 when the two singers in Propaganda (Claudia Brücken and Susanne Freytag) perfomed "A Secret Wish" live in London. The album's producer Steven Lipson was heavily involved in putting the sounds back together and so it was as authentic as could possibly be. I have since seen them a few more times - once in their native Germany. Up until then I never thought I'd see these performed live.
