Hints and tips
  • To quote someone's message, first select/highlight the relevant text, and then use the Quote button that appears
  • To "mention" someone, type @ followed by the start of the forum name, and choose from the list; that person will get a notification of being mentioned

I finally have got back on!

I am dog-sitting a very affectionate dog, so will have less time than normal, anyway until 6th.

This is thanks to @IrishInManchester's slightly cryptic post, so thanks Irish.

How I got back onto the forum

 

  • Send an email to the community manager saying something like, “I can’t log on” (it doesn’t really matter because the reply looks automated.

 

Community Manager CommunityManager@nas.org.uk

 

  • They should reply and at the end of an apology it says, “Please reply to this email if you would like the moderators to send you a password reset email.”

  • Reply to that email saying something like “Yes, please sent me a password reset email”

(Now I have to work out how to turn all those new email notifications off...)

    There doesn't seem to be anyone there as no reply yet. Yes it's really different on here isn't it?

    I felt strange not being able to get on. It said it didn't recognise my email but it's the one I always used. And they are emailing me notifications on the email  Pensive

    I hope the others can get back on soon.
