I'm back! (And how to get back on yourself)

So I used my other email and set up a new account. Now I'm getting notifications on both emails. 

There doesn't seem to be anyone there as no reply yet. Yes it's really different on here isn't it?

I felt strange not being able to get on. It said it didn't recognise my email but it's the one I always used. And they are emailing me notifications on the email 

I hope the others can get back on soon.

I hope that there are mods there at the weekend. But be patient if not. It's such a shame they didn't test this beforehand. So many people can't get on

I have taken your advice hopefully will get help now. 

It doesn't feel right not using my normal account.

Thanks anyway. Will try maybe tomorrow if not Monday. I disabled email notifications as my inbox was getting a little overwhelming.

It's a manual process. I think I was lucky to catch a mod. I don't know if they will be active over the weekend or not. I hope we get there in the end. It feels sparse at the moment.

All notifications etc are the same. But the emails work now, so I had to disable those

i did what you did but never got a password reset just an apology. I have emailed again so hope I can get back to my old account. Do you get all your notifications back from before? 

As it's the weekend, it's more likely to be from Monday.

Bear in mind that the mods are volunteers that work in normal UK working hours. I am not sure my method will work now until daytime tomorrow...

I didn’t get a message at the end of the reply I got but it was a couple of days ago. Maybe I should try again. The email notifications are on the settings page, go to notifications tab and untick what you don’t want. Discovered that when I got an email to inform me that I’d replied to a thread, yeah I know thanks
