Halloween

I absolutely hate Halloween. I love the idea of the costumes and the decorations, some of it looks so cool but overall it’s a time of year I dislike because it’s so busy and noisy. And with Bonfire Night days away there’s usually a lot of fireworks exploding and as well as the doorbell going half the night it’s hard to settle and relax.

Normally my mum or sisters will answer the door and I’ll stay upstairs, in my room, trying to chill in front of a movie or listening to my CDs. Despite us living up a rather long hill people still come up to trick or treat which surprises me each year. I’ve never liked the idea of it, the noise and people a massive put off for me. Even as a child I didn’t like Halloween and only ever went trick or treating once, under protest.

Though I’m dreading tomorrow I have started a list of things I could do tomorrow night to keep busy.

  • Watch a movie.
  • Listen to music.
  • Do drawing ... whilst listening to music.
  • Read a book.

All of the above should help me a lot to cope and get through tomorrow night.
I'm also lucky that I own sensory headphones which will help to cancel out the noise of the trick or treaters' and the fireworks.
