Fidget toys

Hello, can anyone recommend a good fidget toy? I've tried a handful of different types and can't seem to find one that is satisfying. It either makes too much noise or doesn't have a fluid/repetitive enough motion for my likes.

Very curious to hear about everyone's preference!

Growing  up, my #1 stim was hair twirling. For whatever reason it was deemed inappropriate  behavior and I was disciplined for it in elementary school. That caused me to shave my head in an effort to stop and my stim quickly changed to finger picking. Needless to say my poor cuticles suffer Disappointed

  • I've been experimenting with toys myself recently. I've tried the fidget cube, the infinity cube, spinners, sliders, magnetic wheels, all that sort of thing. For me, I like the tactile feel of metal and the action of flicking something open and closed. A zippo lighter works for me, because even without lighter fluid it's good for that tactile response, and it's a discreet item to carry around. Other than that though, the magnetic card slider and the infinity cube have worked pretty well for me. That said I'm still on the hunt for The One.
