Fidget toys

Hello, can anyone recommend a good fidget toy? I've tried a handful of different types and can't seem to find one that is satisfying. It either makes too much noise or doesn't have a fluid/repetitive enough motion for my likes.

Very curious to hear about everyone's preference!

Growing  up, my #1 stim was hair twirling. For whatever reason it was deemed inappropriate  behavior and I was disciplined for it in elementary school. That caused me to shave my head in an effort to stop and my stim quickly changed to finger picking. Needless to say my poor cuticles suffer Disappointed

  • I have stims, one of them caused me having few dark spots on my lips (lip picking) the spots are getting darker and bigger so I’m scared it may be a cancer. It would be terrible and unbelievable how untreated autism may cause a cancer… but I’m still waiting for my appointment to the dermatologist, I hope it’s nothing serious. Recently I bought myself a toy car. It’s the little one “hot wheels” an off-road car with bigger wheels which gives me a nice sensation on my skin. I drive it along my arm, hand, I play with the wheels etc. sometimes others look at me like I’m crazy or something. But I got used to it. Since I decided to quit suffering in shops and wear sunglasses in there - I get stares. I’m not harming anyone I also need to stop harming myself with my stims.
