Busy spaces are a difficult combination of sensory overload and randomness – I realise this now as a late-diagnosed autistic person. This isn’t to say I always want to be on my own. I just like to have plenty of notice about what’s coming. Invasions aren’t fun. Plus, being in my own orbit means I can float around in my own spacious head.

I love open spaces, like the countryside. But when you stop and climb an tree, on a summery afternoon, and some women with a dog walks by, as they do, i'm sure it gives off weirdo vibes lol
