Another dead bird, inside, when I returned home.
Though, my cleaner would probably demand the Sally Rod; for her.
oh
Jokes and I are sometimes speaking different dialects of the same 'tong'.
I get the joke now you point it out.
I'm better with sight gags, puns and word play though.
It was meant to be a joke.
Belling her or leaving her in during the day is the only humane thing to do. Let her out at night. She is not human. She has a cat mind. "punishing" a cat for not behaving like a human is cruel. A bell: it's so easy, the only thing that had ever worked. Problem solved.
BTW, de-clawing is also an act of cruelty.
Punishment cane, from the past.
Ultra sore.
She loves you and was bringing you a present. It has been on my mind for two days so I need to ask...what's a Sally Rod when it's at home?
She is making an offering and bringing home supper for you as a member of the pride. She is showing her love for you. As you feed her, she shares her food with you. Best thing is to bell her. It's pretty effective and does no harm to the cat. You can also only let her out at night, then she will catch mise and rats for you instead! In the daytime all there is is birds. Cats prefer mise and rats and are naturally nocturnal.
