.....come into my life
I thought it'd be nice, as it's Easter Sunday and the clocks have changed to have a thread relating to all things sun. A place where we can share art, photography, music, poetry and prose, ideas and tidbits, things which give us huge bursts or little rays.
Here is a picture to start proceedings :
Here is a song which no-one will probably listen to:

Hello Sunshine by Super Furry Animals
(Although we all would much rather have human generated creativity, i cant stop anyone posting AI generated work. ..please just state if it's AI! Thank you!)
I would do so, if I wasn't banned for being offensive (apparently?!). I seem unable to post.
Ah.
So Number needs to clarify which he means
Interesting.
Thank you Roy
Atomic number 88, was used to illuminate watches until it was found to be radioactive. It brought light in the dark and recharged from the sun.
Kinich Ahau.
The sun god Ra is the creator of the universe. Ra has every power that one can imagine in this universe and can make things become true simply by his will. This is what the ancient Egyptian sacred texts say about Ra's power for example liturgical hymns to the sun god from the temples, utterances from the afterlife literature that refer to him and also the myths to a lesser extent.
For any Egyptian fans who might have been interested.
Book of the Heavenly Cow explains a lot about Ra as well.
Best wishes,
Isadora.
It's a fabulous mimic you did an amazing job! I recognised it straight away.
Thank you for the explanation :)
Ancient Egyptian God of the Sun.
What a lovely thread ️
Here's some flowers...
I love this time of year it's so bright and alive, and if you happen to be near flowers your nose is tickled by the scent.
And here's a summery song:

Summer Nights from Grease I was watching it yesterday so it's the first one that came in my head. Sorry!

Agreed!
It's amazing how, seeing a split Zoom screen collaboration, can instantly transport one back to lockdown!
You need to know your ti*s from your tids.
I didn't want to make you blush Debbie...
I was corrected by someone many years ago from "t i t" to "tid". Upon checking my trusty Oxford English dictionary, it says "tidbit" is the American English version of titbit. So with that in mind, going forward, because I am British, I'll say t i t not t i d.
And I don't usually need any reason or excuse.
It's all gone tidsup.
Good song. I like John Denver, talented man. His voice is so peaceful and calming.
This is my favourite: Mr Blue Sky by ELO.

This song is so upbeat and about the sun and fun. From simpler times.
I love this song and I always play it when the sun is out and shining its best! When I play this song my little girl rocks on the floor to the music.
Catch the Sun, by Doves.
Steve Harley's version was the first I heard.
