Accents!

As a Scot who still has a strong accent I have to say that this quickly becomes annoying.

It feels like I'm being mocked for having a different accent, and as an autist it adds to the feeling of being picked on for being different.

It may be worthwhile considering this before mimicking the person if they are within earshot in future.

That’s fair I honestly am not doing it to take the mick and I’d never intentionally hurt someone’s feeling by copying them. Sometimes I don’t do it intentionally either it just happens someone will say something and I will just repeat it! 

As another Scot I have to agree. Many years ago I had a London-based customer who made fun of my accent on a regular basis until a coworker put a stop to it. It never occurred to him that his accent sounded ridiculous to me.
