I'm a bit confused by your tenses?.....Have you performed it.....or are you going to perform it?

OK then.  That is now more clear.

I would imagine that the half of your class that have English for 7th or 8th hour, would probably be a good analogue/indicator as to how the other half of your class will react in relation to your poem.

I'm English so evidently have some retardation in relation to understanding your schooling protocols and arrangements.

I wish you well with your exploits and hope it works out for you, however so you had originally aspired.

Well, on the basis that you performed it to them about a month ago, and you don't mention anything about their reaction to it yet, then I assume that they are not particularly going to make a fuss about it, one way or the other?

What type of advice are you hoping to receive from here, and regarding what?  Forgive me, I remain very unclear on this matter.
