Autism-friendly communities

Anil A - Mod
As part of the Push for Action campaign, we're calling for more autism aware communities, similar to the Dementia Challenge's dementia friendly communities - http://dementiachallenge.dh.gov.uk/category/areas-for-action/communities/.

Aside from using the phrase "autism-friendly communities" is there anything else you could suggest as a name for these communities?

  • Well as you said in another thread Longman, it would be found by Google search terms of content within the forum.  So no matter what the name is, it wouldn't hinder entry.  I think Anil A - Mod is possibly looking for a name that people with autism and their carers feel comfortable with and all those would know the word spectrum.
