Sharing community content on social media

Hi all,

I'm starting this thread to try and test the waters regarding sharing community content externally.

Before I joined, it was semi-regular practice to tweet out (or Facebook update) a link to interesting discussions going on in the community. Everything on the community is public & viewable without requiring an account, so it's a useful way to encourage our followers to join the conversations here. It's also a good way to get the helpful information onto our different networks.

Do any of you have any concerns around this?

  • Can you please be more sepcific about what it is you want to do/are doing regarding sharing content externally.

I would have thought it was better for people to find the community through the NAS website, thereby limiting the number of potential trolls, timewasters and also spam etc. I am not on facebook or twitter and don't want to be. I had no idea there were any links to this community on those social media.
