Eight-Track Cassettes

I still have my Dad's collection of Eight-Track Cassettes from the early Seventies.

Any enthusiasts who still use them?

Parents
  • I don't have one but I do have a cassette player as well as vinyl and CD players. I collect all Taylor Swift memorabilia and when she started releasing casters cassette and vinyl I bit the bullet and bought both players.

It's a different sound and a different experience but I do enjoy both.

Children
  • I never stopped using tape ( I listen to audiobooks a lot)

Vinyl is an all together different experience.

Massive disc huge  cover art  and  when you put a  disc on you re committed to at least  30 to 45 min of continuous music with no skipping, or fats forwarding.

I need to be in the mood for that.

    But color vinyl is cool.
