I love such places, along with railways and trains! Historic places... Nice scenic places!
Not keen on crowded places though. Prefer rural exploring in the countryside!

I love castles and any old buildings. I love how different they are, how their architecture stands out and how they are surrounded by so much history. I live near Abergavenny and there's a historical castle there. I've seen it a few times but it's been closed each time I went, one day I will go and look around properly.

I also love beaches, sitting on a blanket and watching the waves is so relaxing. I like watching the boats as well. I can imagine being out on the water, it looks peaceful. My Gramps used to be a fisherman, he spent over 50 years out on the water, and had a great time during his life. When I was little he took me out with him but I found the smell of the fish overwhelming and it made me nauseous.
I prefer rural places as well. Nothing really beats it in my opinion which is why I live out in the country with only fields and wildlife for neighbours.
The castle in the first picture you have shown looks like Paxtons Folly..
Oh I typed in Abergavenny, must have copied an incorrect one. I'll edit it out now. Well spotted.
Take a look online at Paxtons Folley. I am one of the few who has been up to the room in the tower.
Lol my apologies Put your head in gear Charla lol!
I'm going to add the pic here. Worried if I edit the post again it might get eaten by the spam filter.
