In the current cold snap I thought I would start a thread for winter photos.
Feel free to post your photos, anything wintery with snow and ice counts. It doesn't need to have been taken this year.
I'll start with a few of mine from my walk yesterday. The snow where I am is just a light dusting but it looked so beautiful in the sunshine yesterday. The temperatures are dropping very low overnight, so I think the snow will be lingering for a good few days yet.
Your pictures are all beautiful. Is it just me, or is there something just so special about snow??? The world looks utterly amazing when it's nestled under the cold white blanket.
