That's a good list actually I've just had a peruse!

Mark Labbett from, ‘The Chase’ is known as the beast, mostly due to his stature. The French spelling is la bête meaning the beast.

I saw that on Facebook.

Reminds me of Dr Dimple, from Tickle on the Tum.

It's weird. You'd think it's nonsense, but I think statistically nominative determinism (the idea that you're more likely to end up in a profession that fits your name) is actually a thing.

I'm sure she's terrific at her job, but there's no way her name didn't help her at least a little bit when they were hiring.

When there was a petrol shortage last year and everyone was panic buying,  my local news had their reporter,  Phil McCann, live from a forecourt.

We had a doctor at our local hospital called Dr. Pain.

An apt surname when the forecast she's delivering mentions blizzards. 

However, I imagine she must get fed up with being on the receiving end of such comments. I know I would.

If anyone is interested, there is a lengthy list of English surnames originating from occupations on Wiktionary (see the link below). Whilst I've not checked, the website may well include lists of non-English surnames too.
