Goosey's gone AWOL again

I sent her a message on Sep 12; I hadn't had a reply, so I sent her another message asking her to send me a little message to reassure me that it wasn't that she doesn't like me. She replied to that message and said she'd try and send me a reply to the previous message tonight; this was a week ago.

And now she's become Former member, and I'm still waiting for my reply! Has anyone got any idea what's happened to her?

Is there any point in sending her another message? I don't know if she'll even see it.

Goosey seemed to be happy here. If even she gives up using the forum after less than 6 months, what does that say about the forum?

  • I too miss Goosey, she was a little ray of sunshine. It would be really good to see her return.

I've been here nearly three years now, the frequency of my posts varying greatly. I notice the 'mood' of the place does fluctuate a little..... just like the 'mood' in all other areas of life. But this is a fairly vibrant community and we will almost certainly survive a few bumps.

I  belong to one other forum on the 'net (not autism related) which was once vibrant but today is very much quieter. Quite why it lost so many of its members is difficult to understand, but I have seen the finger pointed at facebook competition, however, as I'm not a member of facebook I really can't comment.

I'm not sure if other ASD forums exist butmas I'm content with this one, I shall stick around.
