3 Good Things (Redux)

Since the thread, which began May 2021, seems to have vanished, I wish to create a new one. 

From Darkness to Light. Smiley

1. I paid for a condensed tumble dryer, which I reserved on Tuesday; for delivery, tomorrow. Also paid for a three-year warranty. (In cash) 

2. I made a poem, entitled 'Storm in a teacup', about the arrival of Agnes. (SEYMOUR!) 

3. Bought more Farm-Fresh milk today.

  • 1. Went to the opticians (not one of the 3 things). The lady sorting out my new lenses kept on getting interrupted by other staff with questions. She apologised and said she was the manager, so it can't be helped. I said that I admired her ability to switch between tasks and topics because I was autistic I can't do that. She seemed genuinely interested and asked me a few questions about it before we resumed with the lenses.

    2. Making the plunge with varifocals. I don't get them for a week, but I hope that I can get used to them.

    3. Loving Patience on Channel 4 still - we are four episodes in and my wife likes it too.
