Since the thread, which began May 2021, seems to have vanished, I wish to create a new one.
From Darkness to Light. 
1. I paid for a condensed tumble dryer, which I reserved on Tuesday; for delivery, tomorrow. Also paid for a three-year warranty. (In cash)
2. I made a poem, entitled 'Storm in a teacup', about the arrival of Agnes. (SEYMOUR!)
3. Bought more Farm-Fresh milk today.
Hopefully you can enjoy wearing it again. I actually really enjoy sewing/mending, but can understand that other people might not. Well done for getting it done despite disliking it and with your sight loss too. Cats are very good at distraction, aren't they lol

I learnt to sew in school as it was one of the things females were meant to do in life (plus cooking and typing) and I think that may have entirely put me off.
However, it's a useful skill as I believe in 'make do and mend' being of a 'certain age'.
