3 Good Things (Redux)

Since the thread, which began May 2021, seems to have vanished, I wish to create a new one.

From Darkness to Light. Smiley

1. I paid for a condensed tumble dryer, which I reserved on Tuesday; for delivery, tomorrow. Also paid for a three-year warranty. (In cash)

2. I made a poem, entitled 'Storm in a teacup', about the arrival of Agnes. (SEYMOUR!)

3. Bought more Farm-Fresh milk today.

  • Visited Potsdam (the capital of Brandenburg state in Germany) just half hour by train from where I’m living. Took photos, the weather was beautiful.

  • Looks very peaceful. I've been to Munich, Berlin and Frankfurt.

  • Your ideal job sounds like logistics for a tram company!

A lots of my photos don't have many people in, even if it is crowded. I wonder if that's an autistic thing?

  • Berlin is also relatively close to me, 1 hour by train to the central station (Hauptbahnhof). I used to work in Berlin and travel like this everyday. It was exhausting. I’m happy that I don’t live or work there anymore. I remember I couldn’t walk in there with my ears uncovered. It’s horribly noisy, busy, smelly and also quite dangerous. Potsdam is not quiet. The whole trip I wore earplugs to not get crazy. It just looks quiet on my photos. They’re trams although new Siemens, make terrible squeaky noises. Arrgggh the earplugs were not enough. Other people looked not annoyed by that but for me it was unbearable. Thank goodness we traveled only few minutes by tram. I don’t know how is it possible that old trams (here Tatra) go quieter than new Siemens. Maybe one day I will write to the company who owns them about it but right now I have no time or energy.
