3 Good Things (Redux)

Since the thread, which began May 2021, seems to have vanished, I wish to create a new one.

From Darkness to Light. Smiley

1. I paid for a condensed tumble dryer, which I reserved on Tuesday; for delivery, tomorrow. Also paid for a three-year warranty. (In cash)

2. I made a poem, entitled 'Storm in a teacup', about the arrival of Agnes. (SEYMOUR!)

3. Bought more Farm-Fresh milk today.

  • Yes, 9.11.1989 the Berlin Wall fell. Brandenburg State was part of the old  German Democratic Republic (GDR) and till now being economically much behind the western part of the country. Here many names of small towns and vilages have Slavic roots. For example Cottbus, Bulov or Pankow. And many people have polish roots which is visible by their second names. When I walk in the town, my attention gets caught by pieces of information and I awkwardly find myself following the names on the doorbells. I think it’s not a weird thing here…
