Since the thread, which began May 2021, seems to have vanished, I wish to create a new one.
From Darkness to Light. 
1. I paid for a condensed tumble dryer, which I reserved on Tuesday; for delivery, tomorrow. Also paid for a three-year warranty. (In cash)
2. I made a poem, entitled 'Storm in a teacup', about the arrival of Agnes. (SEYMOUR!)
3. Bought more Farm-Fresh milk today.
1. Survived a haircut yesterday (social hangover today 
- but I did it)
2. A parcel at the postbox today was from my sister-in-law, oatcakes, tablet and some Earl Grey tea. A kind gesture.
3. The dog is very chatty today - Awooo! 
The great thing about being a man is... hair clippers!
That is great, saves a lot of bother. When I wasn't working in a public arena, I had no worries, my hair grew long and wild, birds checked it out for a nesting site, and if it really got out of order, there were always scissors to hand - but now I'm a 'professional' it has to look like a real person's hair
