3 Good Things (Redux)

Since the thread, which began May 2021, seems to have vanished, I wish to create a new one.

From Darkness to Light. Smiley

1. I paid for a condensed tumble dryer, which I reserved on Tuesday; for delivery, tomorrow. Also paid for a three-year warranty. (In cash)

2. I made a poem, entitled 'Storm in a teacup', about the arrival of Agnes. (SEYMOUR!)

3. Bought more Farm-Fresh milk today.

Parents
  • 1. Donated to the NAS. (the Mark giveth)

    2. Applied for a grant from the government (and the Mark taketh away...)

    3. Getting the side of our house repaired and repainted by the most unobtrusive and quiet workman. These are gold dust to me. I can't stand the usual builder stock personality (sorry - rare negativity from me Joy). Best of all, he loves the dog and the dog loves him - always a good sign.

A local man in the pub, a rambler type, came in with a dog, all freindly. Think Crocodile Dundee. Next week, I hear from one of my women friends, he tried to grab her leg and did some shady ish groping her etc when she was alone

All I remember was he was talking about how he's never have to, but he was sure the dog would bite anybody on command if he was in danger. It's always the ones you least suspect...  - no such things as good signs.
