Since the thread, which began May 2021, seems to have vanished, I wish to create a new one.
From Darkness to Light. 
1. I paid for a condensed tumble dryer, which I reserved on Tuesday; for delivery, tomorrow. Also paid for a three-year warranty. (In cash)
2. I made a poem, entitled 'Storm in a teacup', about the arrival of Agnes. (SEYMOUR!)
3. Bought more Farm-Fresh milk today.
This is actually two BAD things, but they led to the good thing. Some clouds do have a silver lining.
1. Took back a shirt to M&S only to realise that I'd lost the receipt as I was in the front on the queue.
2. Went to the chemist to get my prescription and it was hot and packed and the chemist kept on getting distracted when he was about to check my basket. I was so close to running out of there.
BUT.... this meant that
3. Coming out of the chemist, I saw this beautiful bird of prey on top of a pigeon.
I actually saved the pigeon by my presence. The bird didn't like the look of me and flew up only for the pigeon to escape into a nearby bush. The bird chased after it, but didn't get it.
