3 Good Things (Redux)

Since the thread, which began May 2021, seems to have vanished, I wish to create a new one.

From Darkness to Light. Smiley

1. I paid for a condensed tumble dryer, which I reserved on Tuesday; for delivery, tomorrow. Also paid for a three-year warranty. (In cash)

2. I made a poem, entitled 'Storm in a teacup', about the arrival of Agnes. (SEYMOUR!)

3. Bought more Farm-Fresh milk today.

  • 1. I've had a productive time doing charity work where I've been raising awareness for autism, children's charities, Cancer Research UK and Lupus. I've also had the rewarding experience of getting to visit children and adults in hospital, triggering for me but completely worth it when I see how much it means to the people I get to visit. I found I wasn't able to work full time so now I'm devoting my time to worthwhile causes and I get to tell people about autism at the same time.

    2. I found an abandoned dog a month ago and took him to the local rescue centre. They said he might not get claimed because he's an older pooch so I said if he doesn't to let me know. He wasn't claimed after nearly a month so now I have a pet dog as I claimed him instead. He has dodgy rear legs, I'm guessing why he was abandoned but he has a heart the size of Texas! The people who didn't claim him missed out on a remarkable dog here. Even if I only have him for a year or two I'll be grateful for it.

    3. My soon to be sister in law gave birth to a baby girl on Friday evening. I'm now Uncle Billy!!! Grinning
