3 Good Things (Redux)

Since the thread, which began May 2021, seems to have vanished, I wish to create a new one.

From Darkness to Light. Smiley

1. I paid for a condensed tumble dryer, which I reserved on Tuesday; for delivery, tomorrow. Also paid for a three-year warranty. (In cash)

2. I made a poem, entitled 'Storm in a teacup', about the arrival of Agnes. (SEYMOUR!)

3. Bought more Farm-Fresh milk today.

Parents
  • the sliver of a waning gibbous moon, resting next to the morning star.

smell of clear, briny sea breeze.

    a day with no obligations.

    >Bonus good thing< I got affinity photo editor and am weaning myself off of photoshop.

  • The smell of the sea breeze is so nostalgic for me as my parents house I grew up in was right next to the sea. As a girl I used to leave my bedroom window ajar so I got a frequent waft of the sea breeze, and, hearing the sound of the sea crash against the rocks was relaxing for me.

Every time I smell the sea breeze now I am reminded of me as a little girl sat at her bedroom window, gazing out at the waves and dreaming.
