3 Good Things (Redux)

Since the thread, which began May 2021, seems to have vanished, I wish to create a new one.

From Darkness to Light. Smiley

1. I paid for a condensed tumble dryer, which I reserved on Tuesday; for delivery, tomorrow. Also paid for a three-year warranty. (In cash)

2. I made a poem, entitled 'Storm in a teacup', about the arrival of Agnes. (SEYMOUR!)

3. Bought more Farm-Fresh milk today.

  • 1. I visited someone, this afternoon, and a man who sells farm machinery was there; that man told me that the latest tenants in my old home are Filipinos.

    2. Did Hope's litter tray.

    3. The LP copy of 'Magic, Murder and the Weather' by Magazine, I ordered via Discogs, arrived in today's post.

  • Desmond, I hope you don't mind me me saying this, but Item 2 seems like a bit of a reach for a list of "Good ThIngs"... (Unless you found gold in there, of course!)

A few months ago we discovered "Catit" branded "pea husk clumping cat litter" which has transformed the litter cleaning process from something I put off, to "no big deal at all", and I now actually manage a daily routine.

It really does coagulate properly and contaminated bits don't break off the scoop on the way to the bag which makes that part much, much quicker and easier than it used to be, and best of all, it really does control the smell of the big boys liquid output very well indeed.

It's not cheap, but it does seem to last a bit longer than I expected, I think that is becasue the clumps that I remove are smaller than with the other sorts of catlitter, because it coagulates a lot better.
