Since the thread, which began May 2021, seems to have vanished, I wish to create a new one. 

From Darkness to Light. Smiley

1. I paid for a condensed tumble dryer, which I reserved on Tuesday; for delivery, tomorrow. Also paid for a three-year warranty. (In cash) 

2. I made a poem, entitled 'Storm in a teacup', about the arrival of Agnes. (SEYMOUR!) 

3. Bought more Farm-Fresh milk today.

  • 1. I removed the radio cassette from the Rolls this morning as it had decided to pack up abruptly. I dismantled it and gave it a good clean. I think it had dried out. It appears to be working once again, long may it play.

    2. I had a cigar today. Most unusual for me, I'm a pipe gent ordinarily but today I fancied a cigar.

    3. The weather was fine so I put on my cap, wore my long coat and got my stick and took a gentle stroll down to the village. It brought back good memories of times gone by when I was younger and took the same walk with my mother.

    I cannot deny it, today has been a marvellous day.
