Since the thread, which began May 2021, seems to have vanished, I wish to create a new one. 

From Darkness to Light. Smiley

1. I paid for a condensed tumble dryer, which I reserved on Tuesday; for delivery, tomorrow. Also paid for a three-year warranty. (In cash) 

2. I made a poem, entitled 'Storm in a teacup', about the arrival of Agnes. (SEYMOUR!) 

3. Bought more Farm-Fresh milk today.

  • Got my new ear defenders and while they don't produce total silence, they are noticeably more effective than my old ones, and are comfortable to wear.

    Found a YouTube video on category theory that helped it make a lot more sense.

    Spent 3 hours in a library I joined recently and am taking a moment to appreciate that it's the perfect temperature, so far has been reasonably quiet, has comfortable seating and is only a ten minute walk from home. Usually I have some kind of complaint about every public place but so far I like this one. The WiFi is rubbish but in some ways that's a good thing as it forces me to not get sucked into procrastination.
