3 Good Things (Redux)

Since the thread, which began May 2021, seems to have vanished, I wish to create a new one.

1. I paid for a condensed tumble dryer, which I reserved on Tuesday; for delivery, tomorrow. Also paid for a three-year warranty. (In cash)

2. I made a poem, entitled 'Storm in a teacup', about the arrival of Agnes. (SEYMOUR!)

3. Bought more Farm-Fresh milk today.

  • 1. I got offered a 3 tonne excavator that doesn't seem to be terminally wounded and has a nicer aspect than most for 2.4K (delivered) today. It has a popular diesel engine with plentiful parts availability,  and is UK made in the eighties (I believe) so will be likely more easily fixable in the long term  I face huge problems "securing" it, even if I do make the purchase, AND it won't please my G/F immediately, until I put it to good use, then sell it for a profit, so it probably won't happen, but I like opportunity coming my way.

    2. Last week I installed the first of four plasterboard sheets required to cover the ceiling of our garage and it has made a significant difference it seems to the aspect.

3.When I finally do elect to go to bed tonight, any cats I encounter on my way to bed will follow me there and at least one will snuggle up next to me carefully until I look to be asleep then carefully reposition themself to somewhere where they won't get squashed during the night...
