Colouring in books aid my relaxation.

I have discovered a new form of therapy: colouring in books with coloured pencils. I prefer the ones aimed at children; they are cheaper and have interesting pictures in them covering different themes, like the sea-side. The adult ones tend to revolve around patterns and do not interest me.

  • Hi Hope,

I have usually found colouring in nice when I was kid, a few years ago.

As a late teenager now, I am looking into doing this more and possibly Arts Therapy and/or Drama Therapy as a "adult" continuation of the arts and in order to deal with some of my issues and to unwind more, which is not easy when you have Autism + OCD + GAD. Mind you, there are others with more difficulties anyway.
