Colin and Colleen, and Pat and Pip. Apparently there's some sort of Columbidae meeting going on around the birdbath.

With all this pigeon talk, I'm posting a lovely song sang by June Tabor. It's about a homing pigeon from 1913 called The King Of Rome....
He's totally thinking "she's on to us. Act natural"
And a completely accidental well timed magpie shot!

My birdwatching day yielded more pigeons!

Aww there so cute ️
I love birds they look so cool and mysterious. I wonder what there thinking when there all huddled together probably planning to nick someone's chips lol
Yeah I think my mum's idea suited her really well.
She's a beautiful colour, I can see why you called her Sky.
I don't know much about birds but I did used to own a budgie called Sky. She was a girl, really cute..
I still got her pic from then
With pigeons and doves I can't tell whether they're male or female so they all get unisex names, often alliterative ones. Others are more descriptive, I have a Bobby the robin, because it bobs about a lot, Nipples the squirrel because...I don't think I need to explain that one, it was obviously a nursing mum!
Oddly enough the collared doves routinely chase off the magpies, and everything else as well.
Yeah pigeons and magpies. My used to call them the evil birds and seagulls as well lol. I've seen magpies here attack other birds they stroll around like they own the place lol.
That's lovely it's such a great pic.
Currently looking ok but we'll see in the morning. If it's looking too wet I'll postpone to later in the week.
The crows are just plain smart, my pair are currently working on taking the suet block cages off the branch stumps on the tree so they can drop them to break them open:

My magpies are a wee bit tame, and frankly stare down the cat, almost as it saying "Go on then, are you going to try it?".
