I personally don't like summer. I find it too hot, too many people and much too bright for my liking.
Winter is my favourite time. I like how the trees look when they are bare. I love it when it's cooler outside. And because it's cold people don't go out as much which means I feel more comfortable to got myself.
Downside is Christmas, streets are well busy then but other than that it's all good.
I also love halloween and christmas then 4th of july
autumn christmas winter and halloween
Autumn is my fav time of year. I love you see the leaves change colours in to their shades of orange and yellow and then as they fall in to piles. I like to jump through the piles, like I do in puddles of rain. A thing I've done some I was 6 :)
I like the general feel of the air in autumn as well. It feels cooler but not too cool. Halloween is just round the corner then, I like to dress in fancy dress and do my own makeup for Halloween. I don't get trick or treaters or do that myself.
I must admit I like the lights, and I start visually stimming off bits of tinsel the day after halloween. haha! XD
My favourite is winter. I struggle with the heat but flourish in the cold.
I'm hyper sensitive to the heat so the winter is kinder to me.
I like Christmas, the tree, lights and decorations. Snow is nice when it comes but I rarely get snow where I am.
Sadly not if your sensory issues are also temperature related like mine. :/
Every day is a good day for getting out in nature
I need one to appreciate the other. You can't beat late spring / early summer and then autumn comes along and its a joy to behold. I like watching the local flora change through the seasons. There's a special kind of light come late September. The dusk sky is always spectacular early November. I love the dormancy of winter and hibernating....I love emerging life at the end of winter, the promise of spring, the long days in summer, the colours of autumn. Each season brings its own smell.
The evening sky around this time of year, facing north/west, when it never gets properly dark, even at 11.30pm NEVER ceases to fill me with wonder in all my thirty something years.
And I think you should hold onto that hope as long as you can!
I don't like extreme heat or cold so Spring is my favourite as the flowers emerging bring colour and hope and the sunshine days feel warm rather than hot. This is the best time for me for going for walks too.
Same for me. 30-35 is torture! Last year when it got like that I went to Scotland as they had between 20-25 there which was much more bearable for me. I'm hoping we won't get those kinds of temperatures this year.
Keats from my 0 level days a long time ago and a rare thing I can still remember most if not all of it.
I can totally get how someone might love 25° even though I personally would prefer more like 15°. But I will never understand how people can claim to actually enjoy 30-35° weather. I feel like I'm being boiled in the shade and set on fire in the sun when it gets there.
I love seeing the changes come in slowly, like the flowers starting to grow again, and then the trees losing their leaves. The transition is almost magical!
I like the transitions between Spring and Summer and Summer and Autumn, if it's just right then it's not too hot but also not raining either so it's great for getting outdoors.Lots of people bang on about solstices, but the equinoxes are best for getting out in nature.
I get real affected by the heat as well. As soon as it's 20 degrees or more I'm overheating!
I find Christmas too busy and noisy when I'm out.
Autumn, spring, winter and summer dead last by a mile.
I don't do well in the heat, but winter gets too cold to do lots of things. I love walking, and there's no better weather for that than in spring and autumn. Also Christmas is super stressful for me.
Please send the rain my way! It's still warm and sticky here, very uncomfortable at times...
I'm not a summer person either. I like wearing summer hats though!
I love Christmas, love to spend it at home in peace and comfort. Christmas Day is also my birthday though I don't really celebrate it.
