Anyone wear their pants lower and cannot stand wearing a belt tightly?

I have NEVER been able to tolerate wearing pants where the waistband is supposed to go or wear a belt that is snug. I wear them lower and loosely. They sit on the sides of my beautiful hips and never squeeze me. They don't show butt crack nor pubic region, but the tops of my butt cheeks are exposed from the pants (covered by my shirt). I also hate tucking in my shirt. It feels too restrictive.

I have seen people wear a belt so tightly around their belly that their body protrudes above and below the belt for the majority of the day. I have never asked, but I get uncomfortable thinking about how they are doing that? I rather never leave the house than wear a belt like that. It makes me so uncomfortable that I can't focus on anything else. Is this an autistic thing or am I just weird?

  • This has reminded me of a sight I recently witnessed, which I really wish I hadn't. The view was of the back of a man, who was bent over working outdoors. The top of his jeans had been approximately halfway down his thighs, along with his boxer shorts, therefore exposing his naked butt cheeks. When the man then straightened up, I had assumed he would make some adjustments and pull his boxer shorts and jeans up. Nope! I consider it equally as off-putting when I see females wearing low-slung jeans.

When I do wear jeans and other kinds of trousers, I like the waistband to be above my waist. If I'm wearing a belt and am feeling uncomfortably bloated, I'll just loosen the belt by one or two notches.

We are all different though, so what feels comfortable for one person may not be the case for someone else. Is it an autistic thing? Possibly.
