I thought I would start a new music thread to share cover versions or less well known versions of original songs (sometimes the cover versions are more famous).

    Both version are valid and have there place. 
    Cash - is at the end of his life and is looking backwards, he is a sorry for what he has done. Guilt! 
    Reznor is starting his life and is sorry because he knows he is flawed, he can’t  offer love, and he knows it. Doomed!

    I’m kind of in middle ground, I’m not at the start or the end  of adult life. 
    but I feel the pain of both versions.
