I thought I would start a new music thread to share cover versions or less well known versions of original songs (sometimes the cover versions are more famous).

I'm going to start the ball rolling with these three covers.....

  • Great thread! Best cover of all time might be Pet Shop Boys improving that Elvis/Willie Nelson song’Always on my mind’. The addition of some minor notes where only major presides before was the key to making a good song a great one. Totally different energy. And a video as mad as a box of frogs: like a parody of ‘this song goes with this movie’ vids of the age. But it was about 15 movies at once.
