Do aspie's have money/budget problems

Hi,

   I have never been able the save money for very long and have been told that having aspergers doesn't help.  Is this true /false  the bank is always in overdrawn on an overdraft limit to £350. And being umeployed doesn't help, and what makes it worse is that buying on ebay is so easy to use that I buy all sorts of things even if I don't have the money in the bank..

  • I have dyscalclulia;  I can do basic additions when the money is in front of me, and can work the till at Age UK, but I cannot understand complex financial information and forms; and I am painfully slow when it comes to certain financial transactions. I still struggle to fill in cheques, and need help with this.

    However, like IntenseWorld, I am very rigid with my money, and have never been in debt. I mainly spend money on food and travel. I very rarely buy clothes or treat myself in any way. Far from spending too much money, I have the opposite problem - I am miserly to the extreme!. But I am becoming more flexible, and am starting to treat myself now and again.
