MMR

I've read so much about the mmr jab and one man was concerned it was infact the mmr jab that caused autism who believes this is true my father believes it 100% my son was talking and developing correctly until he had the mmr jab. What does everyone else think about this ?

  • I  second this.

Also, measles can leave a child brain damaged, and if you believe that MMR will cause autism, do you also believe that measles itself could trigger autism? In my mind the latter seems far more likely, but it is indisputable that measles can cause epilepsy, deafness, brain damage etc. No link between autism and the MMR has so far been found, and while Science can never be dogmatic about anything, the Scientific method carries the most weight.

In the end you  weigh up the risks (nothing is risk free). Vaccines are very safe for the vast majority of children, but far more children (and adults) are disabled by measles than they are from vaccination.
