Ice cream in winter?

My husband keeps pestering me to eat the ice cream I bought at the end of summer. I love ice cream in summer when it is too hot as it helps me cool down. But I do not want it in winter as it makes me feel cold. I don't think it is weird at all to prefer warm things in winter and not want cold things, and vice versa in summer, but he keeps saying I am the weird one for not wanting ice cream in winter. I have tried to do a poll, no idea if it has worked!

What about you, am I alone in this?

  • I find it harder to warm up as i get older. Of course sometimes I am too hot as well! Maybe menopause will turn me into a winter ice cream eater?

The other day I went for a cycle ride and took hours before I felt properly warm. I don't think it was any colder than 2 days prior when I had warmed up just fine. Even a coffee didn't warm me up thoroughly and that usually works. That's the thing, for me it seems my strongest way to change temp is to eat or drink something hot or cold, plus holding the warm mug in my hands or cold damp cloths on the skin. Maybe I should have borrowed my husband's hot water bottle?
