Ice cream in winter?

My husband keeps pestering me to eat the ice cream I bought at the end of summer. I love ice cream in summer when it is too hot as it helps me cool down. But I do not want it in winter as it makes me feel cold. I don't think it is weird at all to prefer warm things in winter and not want cold things, and vice versa in summer, but he keeps saying I am the weird one for not wanting ice cream in winter. I have tried to do a poll, no idea if it has worked!

What about you, am I alone in this?

  • I am someone who eats ice cream under specific situational circumstances rather than seasonal ones. Long walk, ice cream. Visiting a new city, ice cream etc.

The weather doesn't matter, nor does the time of year for me

  • Does it not make you cold in winter? Or do you not mind being cold? I guess after a long walk you are probably quite warm anyway though.

  • I once had ice cream after kayaking and swimming in the far north west of scotland, I was extremely cold, in fact I couldn't talk because my jaw was shaking too much ( I have a very strong shiver reflex) I still had ice cream because it was there. Gave me the worst case of brainfreeze I have ever had but because I had just done a rigorous activity I couldn't not do it. It fulfilled the conditions.

There's also a picture of me eating a cornetto at 6 o'clock in the morning, sitting in my sleeping bag, in a tent, in my pyjamas, when it was 8 degrees outside because we hadn't managed to have one after yesterday's walk and it felt very wrong so had to make up for it
