Comfort item

Do you have a comfort item? 

I know they come in like bears, blankets, jewellery and curious if you have something that brings you comfort.

I have a necklace that was my mums and a bracelet, also a blanket, but that makes me feel like a child. 

Got a lot on today - 2 buses to my hospital appointment - and then I've got to find where I need to go and in my opinion hospital are so hard to navigate! 

I have to admit I'm taking my blanket lol. Hopefully it'll make me feel easier.

  • I most certainly do......but frustratingly, cannot bring myself to share what it is - if I did, I might as well publish my home address, mothers maiden name and full life history here.  It is an unusual item that travels everywhere with me, at all times and (almost) in all places.  The weight, shape, texture and comfort that it affords me is instrumental to keeping me in mental balance.  Sorry to be cryptic, but I thought this writing was worth sharing even though it could be considered a mean tease in some respects.
