Comfort item

Do you have a comfort item?

I know they come in like bears, blankets, jewellery and curious if you have something that brings you comfort.

I have a necklace that was my mums and a bracelet, also a blanket, but that makes me feel like a child.

Got a lot on today - 2 buses to my hospital appointment - and then I've got to find where I need to go and in my opinion hospital are so hard to navigate!

I have to admit I'm taking my blanket lol. Hopefully it'll make me feel easier.

Look forward to seeing if you have a comfort item :)

  • I'm not sure I do have one. Not that I carry around. Many treasured hoarded things at home of course. I suppose, if it counts, a mug of tea in one of my novelty mugs. I'm too self concsious to wear big declarations of what I love so deflect that  onto mugs instead. As I'm the tea drinking equivalent of a chain smoker, there's something special about knowing your mug is also a little part of your special interests too. One that you can warm your hands on too, and soothe the throat - one of my main tension holding places.
