Who is fussy with shoes?

I am ! fussy.

I like vintage styles and when they are not in style I get upset at not being able to source them.

I end up with 10 pairs to see me though the times when that style goes out.

tends to come back every few years.

  • I consider myself quite fussy with the kind of shoes I will wear. I try to avoid wearing footwear (in public) that forces me to expose bare feet, so if I wear sandals, they have to be sandals that I can wear socks with. I'm not entirely sure why, but I have an aversion to looking at bare feet, including my own. I also won't wear footwear that creates 'toe-cleavage'.

For me, flat or very low-heeled shoes are a must, as I never quite managed to master the art of walking in heels without tripping over. Unless there's a need for me to get dressed up, I tend to be a casual dresser when I venture out, so tend to wear trainer-style shoes.
