I thought it might be nice to share our hobbies and interests with each other- we may find something new to try out. Here is my list:
I feel that my own interests are extremely limited. Whilst I wouldn't describe it as a 'special interest' that causes me to become hyperfixated, I do go through phases of being an absolute couch potato and watching a lot of TV. Comedy panel shows, stand-up comedy, and sitcoms are my idea of must-see TV, along with certain dramas and psychological thrillers.
Diamond painting (AKA Crystal Art) is one of my hobbies/interests that I can often become hyperfixated on when I'm in the right frame of mind for arts and crafts. This replaced a decades-long love of cross-stitch.
Adult colouring (less often). I have a preference for colouring geometric patterns, and am a fan of Thaneeya McArdle's rather whimsical colouring books. My favourite colouring mediums are glitter gel pens, fine-point Sharpie markers, and Spectrum Noir glitter brush pens.
Time-Management Computer Games (less often).
Gardening (nowhere near as often as it should be). Preference for brightly-coloured perennials, and growing flowers from seed in propagators. Immensely satisfying if the seedlings survive long enough to be planted in my garden, despite me talking to them to encourage growth. Hey, don't judge me - it seems to work for HRH King Charles.
Reading (not as often as I intend it to be). Mainly fiction, and something along the lines of a Rupert Fawcett cartoon book, and Giles Cartoons book.
Listening to music - Mainly rock/pop from the 1950s to the present day, although not averse to classical music, and music performed by military bands.
