It is so cold here today- minus all day, that I have not gone for a walk. However I noticed something interesting in the garden. I hadn't realised how many cobwebs there were, but they are on view today and fascinating as covered in frost.
How are others finding the cold?
I find winter absolutely horrible, if I ever win the Lottery then I would live in Australia in our winter. Been splitting logs this morning , the Dutches and I are in our jim-jams and watching Oliver from 1968 with Ron Moody. The wood burner is on and Otis seems to be happy in his knitted coat.
Roy Your photograph is making me feel most envious. Although I am thankful to live in a home with central heating, looking at a radiator doesn't have quite the same effect as a real fire. Also, watching the way dogs like to take up residence in front of a fire just makes it even more of a relaxing experience in my opinion.
That looks so warm and cosy, just what's needed on a cold winters day :)
That looks and sounds idyllic Roy. What a fabulous use of a cold Sunday.
Love it, looks so cosy.
Real fires bring back memories of childhood. There is something special about that kind of heat and listening to and watching logs burning is so relaxing.
