No probs, glad it was new and novel for you - a fair exchange. This one ‘slaps’ (as the youngsters say these days) too https://youtu.be/khDPFkUBUEc
Thanks for sharing that, as I'd not heard it before.
Had a wee listen. I’m sure those guys go through a fair number of strepsils. I can see they’re at the top of their game even if it’s not quite my cup of tea (vicar). Thanks for sharing, always good to try new things.
I have the fortieth anniversary picture disc of it.
I heard some more recent Ultravox and Midge Ure stuff a while back. Thought this one https://youtu.be/kxqZKyqmvKE was pretty good
Those are great! I’d never heard those particular OMD and Ultravox tracks before. That’s a funny Ultravox video too. Love his pausing the song to get his bearings for a second. Quality

The lady that played her is 96 apparently
It's later at night and my brain rapidly turns to mush when tired, so I'm sorry to ask but for clarity do you mean that Billy Connolly who sang it (the theme tune https://youtu.be/PDn8B_Cp8JU is still alive ? or someone/something else?
Which in turn has reminded me of the Supergran theme. Heady days.
Oh gosh I dunno why but I'm reminded of classics like You cannae shove yer Granny, now an' all!
This piece of music is incredibly special to me. https://youtu.be/DTXs-hmzRuU
one of the earliest records I remember being put on the turntable by my mother when I was about three or four, and my experiencing a specific emotion - a pleasant melancholy, a sudden realisation that sadness could be beautiful- for the first time as I sat on the living room carpet with a toy or two. I play this on the piano a lot now, though not with the same dexterity! I’ve only got two hands and no ability to multi-track!
Staying in the weirder zones of the 80s and 90s perhaps the oddly comforting strangeness of Crash Test Dummies

OMG I love that one. I'm on such a nostalgia trip tonight.
