I need reviews

I have hesitated to ask for reviews about a place, but I most do it.

Many will understand how important is to have reference about a place before 'buying' or investing in a product or service.

The other day someone mentioned 'Autism Oxford' as a place to go to for a diagnosis. I contacted them and they were very fast in replying to my inquiries.

Now, my tio preference is the Lorna Wing Centre, but I am sad to learn they are not accepting any new referrals, for now.

So, due to the circumsntance and the urgency of my case ( I need an urgent diagnosis for my daughter)....I am now left just just a few options, one of theem is the Autism Oxford.

Does ny of you have some reviews about that place?

Thank you in advance for any information on the subject

  • Did you end up using Autism Oxford? If so how was your experience? They have almost no waitlist and the other Oxford area option has a 6-8 month waitlist. Just makes me wonder why. But I need fast  diagnosis for my teen so planning to go with them. Fingers crossed!

  • I'm not the OP but I'm in the area so I can help! Autism Oxford stops taking new referrals sometimes in order to clear their backlog- they tend to fill all their appointments for a set period of time and then close the list until all of those clients have been seen.

They're actually very good- I had an excellent assessment experience with them and they were really knowledgeable about the different ways autism can present itself rather than sticking to the old stereotypes.
