That is a clear instance of discrimination on the grounds of disability. I'm unsure about how legislature affects religious institutions, but I would write to the incumbent of your parish and send a copy to the bishop of your diocese. 

That's awful. Write to the bishop! I'm a spiritualist, not a Christian, but I have much respect for all faith and I doubt very much that the teacher from Nazarene would have rejected one of our maker's children because of the way he or she in divine wisdom made us.

That is unspeakably awful. The idea that someone could be denied communion because of the effects of their autism. Im so sorry if that happened to you

I'm Catholic; but was never denied the eucharist because I wasn't in the right frame of mind.
