Right or Left Handed?

Right handed but lost three fingers in an accident so taught myself to do more now with my left hand. My brother is left handed.

Sorry to hear about your accident. How awful. I'm glad you've adjusted to your other hand.

Thank you, a memory that just came back was the consultant coming to my bed to say that the fingers couldn’t be re-attached. He then said that I could have counselling to help me with my loss. My autistic question then was “ will this counselling make my fingers regrow?” his answer was obviously “no”. I just replied with “ well I don’t need it then”. His last comment was, “ We don’t get many people like you, but I wish we did.

I'm glad you had morphine to help you through it. Still sounds like your a very calm level headed person. I don't think you sound cold. You sound wise and practical. I tell the children I teach that every day is a learning day as well :-) 

I was on a lot of morphine! I bet your toes really did hurt. I have a mindset that if you can’t alter something then don’t waste time on it. I know I can sound cold, but it’s better to look for something that will make a situation better. Every day is a learning day.

Wow you were so calm and together after such a traumatic experience. I can imagine if in your situation I would have fallen apart. I broke three toes when I was in my teens and I can remember crying to the doctor asking if they would ever heal again. I got so upset. Ha, not my best moment.
